‘Advanced Strategy & Reporting For Sustainable Development’

Dear Sir or Madam,

As you are well aware, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can be both a challenge and an opportunity for today’s business. And in the attempt to answer to a diverse group of stakeholders, the professional management of an organization’s CSR strategy is becoming ever more complex.

In this context, the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) has developed a comprehensive coaching program ‘Advanced Strategy & Reporting For Sustainable Development’, aiming at organizations that have already taken their first steps towards integrating CSR concerns in their activities and are planning to continue making CSR a fully integrated element of their operations.

This advanced and comprehensive CSR program, which draws on holistic concepts included in the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Framework for CSR, as well as other international sustainability models (e.g. UN Global Compact, Global Reporting Initiative, Equator Principles), aims at an integrated and practical approach to Corporate Social Responsibility. Addressed at top executives and CSR managers, this program will provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge for a meaningful and lasting integration of CSR into corporate policy and strategy.

Many leading organizations such as the European Investment Bank, Lloyds TSB, and the Dubai Centre for Corporate Values have successfully implemented our ‘Advanced Strategy & Reporting For Sustainable Development’ program for the elaboration of their corporate CSR strategy, organizational and planning structures. For their efforts in the Leadership & Governance category and project activities in co-operation with CSE, Lloyds TSB was last year (June 2006) awarded by CSR Europe.

The deliverables of the program “Advanced Strategy and Reporting for Sustainable Development” are as follows:

  • Comprehensive Feedback Report with Analysis of Strengths and Areas for Improvement regarding CSR aspects
  • Target setting and Action Plan development
  • Independent CSE Certificate on CSR performance
  • Guidelines for an advanced CSR strategy including Key CSR measures
  • CSR Report content and/or structural layout
  • CSR strategic directions and suggestions for an advanced strategy
  • Tailor-made CSR benchmarking Report for specific business sector
  • Independent Quality Assurance Statement for the CSR report
