Second Annual National Altar
Boy Retreat and First Annual
 National Girls Retreat

Boston, April 6-9, 2006

The second annual National Altar Boy Retreat and first annual National Girls Retreat, "Let Us Be Radiant," will take place April 6-9, 2006 at Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America will be the keynote speaker for both events. These retreats provide the opportunity for Orthodox youth not only to learn about serving Christ, but they also introduce them to our beloved school and bring together young Orthodox Christians from across the country for fellowship and friendship. It is an ideal opportunity for young men who serve in the altar (grades 7-12) and dedicated young women of the parish (grades 7-12).

Due to a generous grant from Leadership 100, the registration fee for each participant will be only $50. This includes all meals, evening activities, program costs, and transportation throughout the weekend. Hotel scholarships are also available for the entire weekend based on four participants per room. This low registration fee has been set to encourage wider participation of young people and also to allow families and parishes to plan for travel expenses.

For more information about the retreats,
