EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR ELENI KARAINDROU AND
THEO ANGELOPOULOS

The European Film Academy has nominated Eleni Karaindrou in the category Composer of the Year 2004 in the upcoming European Film Awards. The nomination is on the basis of her music for Theo Angelopoulos' film "The Weeping Meadow". Angelopoulos has also received a nomination as Best European Director.
***Please note that as part of it's first weeks re-opened in the new building,
the Museum of Modern Art -- two screenings of "The Weeping Meadow":
