Ambassador Mallias to Visit New England


Ambassador of Greece to the United States, Alexandros P. Mallias will visit Boston, as well as Cranston and Providence, RI, and Durham, NH, (Dec. 1 – 6, 2007), where he will attend a series of events, meet with American officials, Greek Community leaders, and members of the business and academic communities. During his visit, Ambassador Mallias will also speak at Boston University, the University of New Hampshire and the Economic Development Corporation of Rhode Island.

Saturday, December 1, 2007, at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. - Reception (by invitation only)

Reception hosted by Consul General Constantine Orphanides, at the Greek Consulate, where Ambassador Alexandros Mallias will honor Mr. Clay Atkinson and Mr. & Mrs. Timothy Gates for the return of Classical Antiquities to Greece. (By invitation only).

Monday, December 3, 2007, at 6:00 p.m . - Lecture

"Getting to Know the European Union: Greece"
