Worcester to Host 65th Annual National Pan-Macedonian Association Convention 26-31 May 2011

(New York, PMA)--Preparations for the 65th Pan-Macedonian USA Annual Convention in Worcester Massachusetts are well under way. The Association extends cordial invitations to all Macedonians and Friends of Macedonia to attend. The dates are May 26-May 31, 2011, according to Convention Chair, Mrs. Rhoda Vasiliadis Mitkonis, and Supreme President, Dr. Antonios Papadopoulos.

Event organizers plan
for a Convention that includes a little of everything: fun, education and work. The City of Worcester, Massachusetts is an excellent meeting center (http://destinationworcester.com/AboutUs.aspx), as well as family vacation destination. There will be activities for everyone, young and old, and for individuals with young families. The delegates, in addition to the Convention agenda, will also enjoy various activities.

Early booking of hotel rooms is advisable, because of the many colleges and universities located in the Worcester area. Special room rates are in effect with early reservations (30 days prior to the convention).
Business meetings of the convention will be held in the Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton Alexander the Great, Worcester MA. Rooms for the delegates are available at the Hilton Garden Inn: [http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=BEDWOGI], 35 Major Taylor Boulevard, Worcester, Massachusetts 01608, (tel.) 508-753-5700, $99.00 plus tax per night.
