Born in Indiana with roots in Chios, Chris was first elected to the Parish Council in 1965 and served for more than 20 years. He coached the Cathedral basketball team and initiated and chaired the Cathedral Annual Road Race. He is a founding member of the Restoration Committee and one of five trustees of the Cathedral Preservation Endowment Fund. A founder, with his wife Bess, of the Hellenic Cardiac Fund at Boston’s Children’s Hospital, Chris also served as chairman of the Dedication Ceremony for the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton, MA.
