The Boston Lykeion Ellinidon is an academically inspired institution engaged in researching, teaching, and collecting Hellenic folk culture and folk art. Established in 1998, it serves as a resource and referral source, accumulating information on authentic dance, attire, music, language and traditions. The organization, an official affiliate of the world-renowned Greek Lykeion Ellinidon, has five departments: Folklore Library, Ethnic Dance, Traditional Music, Guardianship of the Greek Language, Culture and Traditions, and Public Relations.
