Win a Trip to the 2004 Athens Olympics!

America Region, wants you to win a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime event… the return of the Olympic Games to Greece in 2004. “Getting Hellenes around the world, no matter what generation they are part of, to ‘recharge’ their spiritual and cultural batteries by visiting Greece is one of ΣΑΕ’s ongoing goals,” says Chris P. Tomaras, V.P. of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad. “I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t want to be in Athens next year for these historic Olympics, or who wouldn’t want to see the exciting, new Greece that will welcome the world in the summer of 2004.” The World Council of Hellenes Abroad is the official government-chartered umbrella organization for the hundreds of Greek organizations in the Diaspora representing the millions of people of Greek descent around the world.
The drawing, which will be held in May 2004, is part of a campaign by ΣΑΕ - N. & S. America, to introduce its free, Internet-based, tri-lingual e-newsletter, “ΣΑΕ AMERICAS” to every Hellene in the Western Hemisphere with access to a computer. “We’ve had an excellent reaction to our new periodical,” Mr. Tomaras explained, “but the instantaneous and universal reach of our www.saeamerica.org web site means our newsletter could be reaching out to more Hellenes than ever, whether they speak Greek, English or Spanish. All you have to do to be eligible for the drawing is meet our three criteria above and register to receive a periodic e-mail message providing instant access to the latest news and information from ΣΑΕ.”
The trip being offered consists of round-trip airfare for two from New York to Athens, double-occupancy accommodations for the eighteen nights of the Games in the Athens metropolitan area, and two tickets to the Opening Ceremonies.
