Papoutsy Arts Venture Fund and Papousty Charitable Funds Grants Exceed $125,000 in 2007, Tops $400,00 in Grants Since Inception

Papoutsy Arts Venture Fund grants were awarded to the following recipients in support of the arts: $5,000 to Art-Speak, to disseminate a survey analyzing the economic impact of arts organizations in the community. $60,000 to Friends of the Music Hall, to help sustain critical operationswhich restoration work continued. $5,000 to Harbor Light Productions, to support the cost of a consultant to assist in strenthening organizational capacity. $5,000 to Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program, to support a community poet project involving hospice bereavement groups.

Papoutsy Charitable Foundation $5,000 to New Hampshire in support of 10th Anniversary Rouman Lecture Series at UNH. $5,000 to Canterbury Shaker Village, $50,000 toVatoussa Lesvos, Greece amphitheatre park project.
