Fort Lauderdale, FL. --The delegates of the Daughters of Penelope elected Georgia A. Psichogios, Westmont, IL, Grand President for the 2006-2007 administration at their National Convention in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Diplomat Hotel, on July 29, 2006. Ms. Psichogios stated "I never dreamed that I would get this involved, I usually see myself as follower, and it looks like I followed myself right into a leadership position, and I couldn’t be more honored."

She went on to say: "I belong to an all AHEPA Family, and together with my parents have lived the Daughters Experience."

"I am looking forward to serving our organization this year.
