Diamataris, publisher of the daily newspaper National Herald. Great Benefactors selected by the educators for awards were Nikolaos Andriotis (Astoria), Zoi Koutsoupakis (Brooklyn), and Stefanos Tseperlis (Flushing). Teachers of the Year were Emilia Antonopoulos (Holy Trinity), George Kannelopoulos (St. Nicholas, Flushing), Eleftheria Ikouta (Plato, Brooklyn), Efrosini Mantsini (Three Hierarchs), Ekatrini Moschokarfis (Holy Cross, Whitestone), Andriana FIliotis (St. Irini Chrysovalantou, Astoria), and Stavroula Panagiotopoulos (New Jersey).
